MONTHLY RECAP | JANUARY

As we say goodbye to the first month of this glorious year I am looking back at the last month and planning the next month - I say planning - it is more like OMG S**T I HAVEN'T EVEN BEGUN TO GET MOST OF THE STUFF DONE I WAS SUPPOSE TO THIS MONTH and then furiously writing a list and working out how I can exist on 5 hours sleep for the next month (lols that will literally never happen). However, it may have flown by but January has been a bit of a babe.

Firstly the Lake Como shoot got published on my favourite blog Wedding Sparrow and all the pretty was finally out there for everyone to see and for me to shout about. I still can't get over how stunning it is. Then my Mollie Makes feature came out...say whaaaaaat...I am still pinching myself/doing a happy dance. I am such a magazine fanatic that it truly blows my mind that I am in one. Me, my little top knot and inky hands. The fact that people want to actually think what I have to say is worth putting in print makes my heart and head nearly explode with happiness. If you have managed to get a copy of it then let me know what you think (if you can find it anywhere - I think my mum bought all the copies in the New Forest). Talking of magazine features, my work was also featured in Perfect Weddings who shared the stunning Wrest Park shoot that I was a part of last year.

I also shared my 2017 goals and shared my first WIHL post about my first year in business which people actually found useful which again slightly blows my mind and makes me SO HAPPY. Honestly, it's a wonder that I haven't already reached my goal weight with all the happy dancing that I am doing.

I completed and delivered two wedding invitation suites and taught two workshops, one with the lovely Kimberley from My Wedding Fair which we have been planning since last summer and the other in Greenwich both of which were sold out!

On a personal note, my little love Oscar can now string words together and says 'Hello Mummy' when he sees me which makes my heart feel like it is going to burst. He also says poopies and weewees which is overly hilarious.

So February you are coming and I am ready for you! Not only are you birthday month (YAY) but you are also the month that I am going to get all my accounts in order (not so yay) and prep for my wedding fairs in March by creating some AMAZING new collection designs. I also have a pretty stunning shoot that comes out tomorrow...follow me on Instagram to be the first to see that!

I hope you have all had a fantastic January and here's to a brilliant February!

Note to self....make sure to post a number of posts that is divisible by three in all months after this one..because that grid is SO ANNOYING.

Workshop | The Trafalgar 6th November 2016

Hello! Today I am going to share with you some pictures from my most recent workshop at my new venue, the gorgeous riverside pub The Trafalgar. I absolutely LOVE this location. Greenwich has become one of my favourite parts of London with its stunning buildings, village feel and just general beauty, so I fell in love with The Trafalgar when I had my first meeting there. My workshops take place upstairs in a private room which overlooks the river filled with masses of natural light...absolutely perfect for a calligraphy. Not to mention there is a bar downstairs if you fancy a tipple.

As always my workshop was filled with a talented bunch of ladies and they all did brilliantly, I am looking forward to seeing lots of Christmas cards and tags being made this year! The gorgeous Maxeen Kim was there snapping away and as you can see below she got some pretty good action shots of the class in action.

All my 2016 workshops are now sold out, but I will be releasing dates for early 2017 super soon so if you are interested then sign up to my newsletter below and follow me on Instagram to be the first to hear when I do!

Launch | Christmas Cards

Hello! I know it has been a while, and I am very sorry! I promise I have lots of things planned for this little section of my website and I will be around a lot more often!

It is that time of year and I am excited to say that my Christmas Cards have launched in the shop! You can now purchase my hand letterpressed cards, in six different designs each available in three colours, online. When I was designing these cards I really wanted them to be really simple and beautiful with all the attention on the letterpress calligraphy message.

There are six different messages available - Merry Christmas, Jingle Bells, Merry & Bright, Dashing Through The Snow, Ho Ho Ho and You Jingle My Bells. They are each printed in three different colours, a bespoke mixed grey, green and red. They are priced at £2.75 each or a choice of 5 for £11.

I printed them all on my vintage Harrild Pullman printing press onto luxury GF Smith Colourplan paper and they come with a pale grey envelope.

I hope you like them as much as I loved making them! As always follow me along on instagram to be the first to know about new work and launches!

Shoot | Sezincote

OH MY GOD. I have been DESPERATE to share this shoot since June when it took place. I was blown away when Kerry and Lucy asked me to be a part of it a week before the shoot and the stationery I provided was a total labor of love. Everything was hand written and illustrated in bespoke pale pink ink, hand deckled and hand gilded with gold leaf and luxury watercolor paper. The venue, Sezincote, is a 200 year old Mogul Indian palace set in the heart of the Cotswolds. It is breathtakingly beautiful. All the wedding goals. They only host a handful of weddings a year at Sezincote and this was the first time they had let a styled shoot take place on the property. I know. I felt like I was dreaming.

So fast forward to yesterday and our gorgeous shoot got published on Style Me Pretty....the most read wedding blog IN THE WORLD and now my little name is on it. All the goals. I am sooooo excited about this beautiful shoot and couldn't wait to share it with you all so rather than waiting until Wednesday when I normally post here I am going to give you all a Saturday treat and share it today. YAY. You can see the original post here, scroll down for the dreamiest of teams and make sure you pop over to Instagram and let me know what you think!
